Ducati India has launched the 2025 Panigale V2 and V2 S, two sporty bikes that mix fast speed with sharp looks. These are the newest in Ducati’s middleweight V-twin family, following the recent Multistrada V2. The base Panigale V2 starts at Rs 19.11 lakh (ex-showroom), while the V2 S costs Rs 21.09 lakh (ex-showroom). That’s a drop of Rs 1.86 lakh from the older model’s price. Both come in Ducati Red color only. Bookings are open now at Ducati dealers, with deliveries starting late January 2026.
The 2025 Panigale V2 is the first Ducati supersport built from the ground up, with changes to the body and engine for better balance and fun rides. It’s lighter and easier to handle than before, perfect for tracks or twisty roads.
Look and Design
The Panigale V2 has a sleek, aggressive shape with sharp lines that make it feel fast even when parked. The front has twin LED headlights that look sharper now, leading to a slim fairing and a sculpted fuel tank. The side panels are redesigned for the smaller engine, keeping the weight low up front for quick turns. The tail is upswept and short, with LED lights for signals and braking. It sits on a monocoque frame that’s strong and light. The V2 S adds better suspension parts for a smoother feel. Both weigh less than before—the V2 S is 175 kg without fuel, the lightest Panigale ever.
Power and Ride
The heart is a new 890 cc V-twin engine that’s liquid-cooled and works with E20 fuel. It makes 120 horsepower at 10,750 rpm and 93.3 Nm of pulling power at 8,250 rpm. That’s less power than the old 955 cc engine (150 hp), but it’s smoother and more fun for everyday use. A six-speed gearbox with Ducati Quick Shift lets you change gears up or down without the clutch. It hits 100 km/h from a stop in about 3.8 seconds and tops 250 km/h. Fuel use is around 18 km per litre.
For handling, the base V2 has adjustable Marzocchi forks in front and a Kayaba shock in back. The V2 S upgrades to Öhlins suspension for better control. Both have disc brakes front and back with ABS that works in corners. The wheels are 17-inch cast alloys.
Tech and Safety
A 5-inch TFT screen shows speed, fuel, and ride info, with Bluetooth for phone calls, music, and maps. There are four ride modes: Race for tracks, Sport for fun roads, Road for daily drives, and Wet for rain. Other helps include traction control to stop wheel slips, wheelie control, engine brake control, and launch control (standard on V2 S, optional on V2). The V2 S adds a pit limiter for races.
Ducati India’s head said: “The 2025 Panigale V2 is lighter and more engaging, made for riders who want speed and style.” It competes with bikes like the Aprilia RS 660 or Kawasaki ZX-6R, but with Ducati’s V-twin sound and feel.
If you love a bike that’s quick on tracks but comfy on streets, the Panigale V2 is a top pick. Visit a Ducati dealer to see it—the new engine and looks make it exciting!
