Aprilia India has launched a special version of its popular scooter, the SR-GP Replica 175 hp-e. This limited-edition model takes its style from the company’s racing bikes in the MotoGP world championship. It launched today, September 24, 2025, at a price of Rs 1.23 lakh (ex-showroom). That’s just a bit more than the regular SR 175 hp-e, which got a price cut of Rs 10,000 after new tax rules started on September 22. Fans of speed and racing can book it now at Aprilia dealers across the country.
The SR-GP Replica keeps the sharp, sporty shape of the standard scooter but adds cool touches from the 2025 RS-GP MotoGP bike, ridden by stars Jorge Martin and Marco Bezzecchi. It has a matte black body that looks tough and sleek. Red and purple stickers run along the sides, just like on the race bike.
The Aprilia logo sits at a slant across the front and middle part, with team sponsor names for that real racing feel. The front wheel gets a red stripe, and the black alloy wheels add extra style. It even has the race numbers of the riders and a black grab bar for the back seat.
Under the hood, nothing changes from the base model. It runs on a 175 cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that makes 13 horsepower and 14 Nm of pulling power—the best in its small engine class. This setup works well with E20 fuel and gives smooth starts and good speed for city rides or short trips.
The scooter handles bumps thanks to 14-inch wheels with grippy tires, and it feels stable even on uneven roads. Brakes are disc at the front and drum at the back for safe stops.
Inside, you get a 5.5-inch color screen that shows speed, fuel, and trip details. It connects to your phone via Bluetooth for calls and music. All lights are LED for bright views at night, and there’s a USB spot to charge your phone. The seat is wide for two people, with a straight handlebar for easy control.
