Hero Xpulse 210 Becomes Cheaper by Up to Rs 14,516 After New Tax Rules

Hero MotoCorp has some exciting news for bike fans who love off-road fun. The popular Xpulse 210 adventure motorcycle has seen a big price drop thanks to the government’s new tax changes that started on September 22, 2025. Bikes with engines under 350cc now face a lower tax of 18%, down from the old rate, so Hero is passing the full savings to buyers. This makes the Xpulse 210 even more affordable, especially with the festive season in full swing.

The Xpulse 210 comes in two main versions: Base and Top. Before the change, the Base was Rs 1.76 lakh, and the Top was Rs 1.86 lakh (ex-showroom). Now, after the cut, the Base is Rs 1.62 lakh—a drop of about Rs 14,000—and the Top is Rs 1.71 lakh, saving around Rs 14,516. These new prices are already live at Hero dealerships across India, so you can head in for a test ride and grab the deal right away.

This adventure bike is built for riders who want to tackle rough trails or city streets with ease. It has a 210cc liquid-cooled engine that gives 24.2 horsepower and strong pull for quick starts and steady climbs. The six-speed gearbox makes shifting smooth, and the 13-litre fuel tank lets you go far without stopping often.

Weighing just 168 kg, it’s light enough to handle but tough with a steel frame, telescopic front forks, and a linked rear shock to soak up bumps. Brakes are disc on both wheels, and you get three modes for different rides: Road for smooth paths, Off-road for dirt, and Rally for wild tracks.

Safety and extras include a round LED headlight for night views, a digital screen for speed and trip info, and ABS that adjusts to the ground. The tall seat and wide handlebars keep you comfy for long hours, with good ground clearance to clear rocks or potholes. It’s a step up from the older Xpulse 200, with better power and features that make it feel modern without being too fancy.

Vikram Kasbekar, Hero’s top boss, said: “We welcome these tax changes that help everyday buyers. Passing on the full savings keeps our bikes reachable for adventure seekers.” This cut puts the Xpulse 210 ahead of rivals like the Kawasaki KLX 230, now at Rs 1.84 lakh, making it a top pick for budget off-roaders.
