Ferrari has given the world its first look at the Elettrica, the Italian brand’s debut fully electric vehicle platform. Revealed on October 9, 2025, during Ferrari’s Capital Markets Day event, this setup promises the thrill of a supercar without the roar of a traditional engine. It’s a big step for the company, blending cutting-edge battery tech with the sharp handling that Ferrari fans love. The actual car, built on this platform, will show up in showrooms in the second half of 2026, with a price tag starting around €500,000 (about Rs 4.5 crore).
The Elettrica stands out with four electric motors—one at each wheel—that together deliver more than 1000 horsepower. This setup lets the car blast from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 310 km/h.
Power comes mainly from the rear motors, which handle quick turns and strong pushes, while the front ones add extra grip for better control on twists or wet roads. The whole system feels alive, with each motor adjusting on its own to keep the ride steady and fun.

At the heart is a big 122 kWh battery pack, made right in Ferrari’s Maranello factory using cells from South Korea’s SK. It gives over 530 km on a single charge, enough for long drives without worry.
The battery sits low in the floor, dropping the car’s center of gravity by 80 mm compared to gas-powered Ferraris. This makes it handle corners like a dream, with less body lean and quicker responses. The body uses 75% recycled aluminum to keep it light and strong, and it charges fast at up to 350 kW—adding a lot of range in minutes at public stations.

Ferrari didn’t forget the fun part: sound. Instead of fake engine noises, the Elettrica uses sensors on the rear axle to pick up real vibrations from the road and tires, then amps them up through the speakers. It’s like an electric guitar—raw and powerful, not copied from old cars.
Inside, expect a driver-focused cabin with dials for energy-saving modes or sporty drives, plus five settings for different weather or road types. Seats for four make it practical for short trips with friends, and the design draws from past models like the GTC4 Lusso but with a more forward cockpit.

Ferrari CEO Benedetto Vigna said at the event: “The Elettrica isn’t just electric—it’s Ferrari. We built it to deliver pure joy behind the wheel, with power and smarts that feel alive.” The company made almost everything in-house, from motors to software, to keep that special touch. It’s part of a plan to mix gas, hybrid, and electric cars, but this EV shows Ferrari’s ready for the green shift.
This platform could lead to more electric Ferraris soon, but for now, it’s a tease of speed without fuel. If you’re into cars that fly and turn heads, the Elettrica sets a high bar—watch for the full reveal next spring!
