TVS Motor Company has good news for bike and scooter buyers. Following the government’s new tax changes that started on September 22, 2025, prices for many popular models have dropped. The tax on small bikes and scooters under 350 cc fell from 28% to 18%, so TVS is passing the full savings to customers. This makes everyday rides more affordable, especially with the festive season in full swing.
Models like the Jupiter, Raider, Ntorq, and others now cost less by up to Rs 9,600. The Jupiter 110, a top choice for families, is now Rs 72,400, down from Rs 78,881—a saving of Rs 6,481. Its bigger sibling, the Jupiter 125, starts at Rs 75,600, a cut of Rs 6,795 from Rs 82,395. The sporty Ntorq 125 is Rs 80,900, saving Rs 7,242, while the Ntorq 150 drops to Rs 1,09,400, with a Rs 9,600 reduction.
On the bike side, the Raider, loved for its quick city runs, now ranges from Rs 80,500 to Rs 94,500, with cuts of Rs 6,291 to Rs 7,125 depending on the version. Other favorites like the Radeon (Rs 67,400 to Rs 80,000), Star City Plus (Rs 72,200 to Rs 74,900), and Sport also see drops of Rs 6,000 to Rs 8,500. Even the trusty XL 100 moped is Rs 43,900, making it easier for basic needs.
These changes cover scooters like Zest and bikes like Ronin too, with savings across the board. TVS says this will bring more people to showrooms, especially in smaller towns where every rupee counts. The company is not touching prices on bigger bikes over 350 cc, which now face a 40% tax as luxury items.
